Dr. Mary C. Menard
 
Dr. Menard is a graduate of the Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine, and a longtime resident of New York.  She moved from a mixed animal practice in Southwestern Vermont to open Borador Animal Hospital in 1996. The variety of a mixed animal country practice has always appealed to Dr. Menard, allowing her to administer and care for animals of all sizes.  Of special interest is surgery and preventative care, and the last several years of continuing education having been devoted to the certification in veterinary acupuncture and attending courses in the use of Chinese herbal medicine.  She shares her home with numerous dogs and cats, and for large animals, her Foundation Quarter horses, Walter and Fionna (miniature donkeys) and three alpacas.
